Target markets - descriptions

Nothing is targeted at everyone. Remember this, it is important. Some products or services are too expensive for some people. Some products and services are liked by some people, hated by others.
You need to take this into account when designing a product or advertising or other promotional materials. You need to have a good grasp of different social categories, demographics and target markets BEFORE beginning your design. There is no use trying to retrofit a design to match a target audience. Here is a site that will provide you with a good starting point for understanding different target audiences.
